If you own something of value that you would pass on to someone else upon your death, you have an estate.  We can help you with the process of making lifetime arrangements, primarily through a Will or Trust, for the distribution of your estate after your death. Estate planning attempts to eliminate uncertainties over the administration of an estate and maximize the value of the estate by reducing taxes and other expenses.

Probate & TrustS

We can help you through the legal process when you experience the loss of a loved one.  We help clients with probate and trust administration.  Probate is a court-supervised process that has as its ultimate goal the transfer of property from an individual who has died to that individual's beneficiaries.   Trust administration deals with the deceased person’s financial affairs, however, a trust generally is not a court-supervised process.

Elder Law

We can help you or a loved one with the issues one may face as they age.  Elder law focuses on special areas within field of estate planning, including health care, planning for incapacity or mental incompetence, receipt of benefits, Medicare, Medicaid, and Social Security.
